FISHING CLUB

The Maitland Fishing Club was started in 2021 by Athletic Director, Kevin Neff, to help foster a love for fishing in new a generation of youth. The Fishing Club consists of 20 Maitland students that are divided into two separate groups. Each group learns basic and advanced techniques for bass fishing from February to May.

The top 5 anglers from each group (10 total) face off in a final end of season competition to earn the honor of Angler of the Year!
